01 · Scope
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through velixon.net and direct communications that begin through the website. Velixon is the trade name used by Velixon Solutions LLC, a Utah single-member limited liability company doing business as Velixon. It does not replace the privacy or data-processing terms in a separate client agreement.
Links to other websites, products, or services are governed by their own privacy practices. Velixon does not control those third-party practices.
02 · Information
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit an inquiry or contact us, we may receive your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, project type, current project stage, budget range, desired launch window, project goals and details, preferred contact method, and anything else you include in your message.
Free Audit and Project Estimate information
If you request a Free Business Systems Audit, we may receive your name, business and website details, work contact information, main operational bottleneck, and consent choice. A Project Estimate request may include the service, budget range, preferred timeline, and additional project details you choose to provide.
Quiz output
The Automation Maturity Quiz uses predefined rules in your browser to generate a directional score, maturity level, category scores, weaknesses, and recommendations. Its result remains separate from the audit request form and is not used as an automated eligibility decision. It is an estimate for business planning, not a guarantee.
Inquiry attribution
If you submit an inquiry, the form may include available session-attribution details: UTM campaign parameters, Google and Meta click identifiers (gclid and fbclid) when present, the first landing page, referring page, capture time, submission page, and active landing-page copy variant. These values help us understand how the inquiry reached Velixon. They are stored for the browser session and are separate from optional analytics, so available attribution may be submitted with an inquiry even when analytics consent is declined.
Operational website data
Netlify and other infrastructure providers may process limited server and network information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, request time, requested page, browser or user-agent information, and error or security events. This operational processing can occur when the site is accessed and is separate from optional Google Analytics.
Optional analytics data
If Velixon configures Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement, Google Tag Manager, or Microsoft Clarity, those services may process page views, browser and device information, referring pages, approximate region, site interactions, completed-inquiry events, and performance or session-replay information only after you grant analytics consent. Their libraries do not load before that choice and do not load when their verified destination values are absent. Form field values are not intentionally sent as analytics or conversion event properties.
Information from ongoing conversations
If you continue a conversation with us, we may retain the messages, files, requirements, scheduling details, and other business information you provide so we can evaluate or deliver the requested work.
Avoid submitting passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive information unless Velixon has provided an approved secure method.
03 · Use
How we use information
We use information for legitimate business purposes, including to:
- Respond to questions, evaluate project fit, and prepare next steps.
- Evaluate Free Business Systems Audit and Project Estimate requests, prepare findings, and recommend practical next steps.
- Generate self-serve quiz results separately from audit-request review.
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the website and our services.
- When optional measurement is configured and consent is granted, understand site traffic, performance, useful content, and completed inquiries.
- Protect the website, prevent spam or abuse, and investigate security concerns.
- Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.
- Send service-related communications and marketing you separately requested or that applicable law otherwise permits, with an available opt-out.
04 · Sharing
When information is shared
We may share information with service providers that help host the website, process forms, store audit requests, deliver communications, support business systems, deliver professional services, or—when you grant consent—provide analytics. These providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role.
The current website uses Netlify for hosting, operational delivery, server-level protection, form processing, audit-function execution, and audit-request storage. Resend may be configured to deliver the visitor confirmation and internal audit notification. Optional strategy calls are arranged manually only after audit delivery; this website does not embed or link to a public scheduling service. Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity may be enabled for optional site measurement only when their verified identifiers are configured and analytics consent is granted. Their handling of information is also governed by the Netlify Privacy Statement, Resend Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy, and Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or support a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the business. Velixon does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, this policy and any legally required choice mechanism must be updated before the change begins.
05 · Analytics
Analytics consent and browser storage
Optional measurement may be disabled entirely. When a verified Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, or Microsoft Clarity value is configured, the applicable library does not load unless you select “Allow analytics.” If you decline—or if no measurement destination is configured—the optional libraries do not load.
Advertising storage, advertising user-data storage, and ad-personalization storage remain disabled regardless of your choice. Google signals and advertising-personalization signals are also disabled. Granting analytics consent does not enable advertising features on this website.
The site uses local browser storage to remember your analytics choice and optional checklist progress. Session storage retains inquiry-attribution details and may retain unfinished audit-request fields in the current tab for up to 24 hours so progress can be restored. That draft is removed after a successful submission and can be removed sooner by closing the tab or clearing site data. Quiz progress remains separate. Session-stored information is separate from optional analytics.
You can review or change your choice at any time through Analytics preferences in the website footer. Withdrawing consent applies to future analytics activity; information previously processed may remain subject to the provider's applicable retention practices.
See the Cookie and Browser Storage Policy for a plain-language list of storage purposes and controls.
06 · Safeguards
Retention and security
Website inquiry and Free Business Systems Audit records are scheduled for deletion no later than 24 months after submission unless an active client relationship, requested follow-up, dispute, security investigation, or legal recordkeeping obligation requires a longer period. Unfinished audit drafts remain only in the current browser tab for up to 24 hours. Analytics and service providers may apply their own documented retention periods.
If an inquiry becomes a client engagement, relevant communications, contracts, invoices, project records, consent evidence, and security records may be retained for the engagement and the period reasonably necessary afterward for support, tax, accounting, contractual, dispute, insurance, and legal purposes. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or de-identified through Velixon's retention process.
Velixon uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Read more about our approach on the Security page.
07 · Choices
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict some uses. These rights may be subject to exceptions.
You can accept, decline, or revisit optional Google Analytics at any time through Analytics preferences in the website footer. The website remains available when analytics is declined.
To make a request, email velixon@velixon.net with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope before completing a request. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a denied request, reply with “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. You may also unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in that message or by contacting us.
Submitting an inquiry authorizes Velixon to respond about that request. It does not by itself authorize recurring promotional text messages, prerecorded or automated calls, or unrelated marketing campaigns.
08 · Children
Children's privacy
This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and Velixon does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
09 · Updates
Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through a reasonable notice on the website when appropriate.
